Modesta Petrauskaitė yra Lietuvos politikė, prisijungusi prie Lietuvos socialdemokratų partijos 2010 metais. Ji yra iš Panevėžio ir turi verslo vadybos diplomą bei viešojo administravimo magistrą. Petrauskaitė turtinga patirtimi vadovaujant įvairioms organizacijoms, dirbdama patarėja Seimo nariui, bei yra aktyvi įvairiose partijos bei jaunimo struktūrose. Nuo 2014 metų iki 2024 metų buvo Panevėžio rajono savivaldybės tarybos narė, o nuo 2024 metų lapkričio 14 dienos – Lietuvos Respublikos Seimo narė. Seime ji dirba keliuose komitetuose ir komisijose, taip pat dalyvauja tarptautiniuose parlamentiniuose ryšiuose.
