Liudas Mažylis yra Lietuvos politikas, profesorius ir mokslininkas, gimęs 1954 m. gegužės 19 d. Kaune. Jis atstovauja Tėvynės sąjungos-Lietuvos krikščionių demokratų frakcijai ir buvo Europos Parlamento narys nuo 2019 iki 2024 metų. Žinomas dėl 1918 m. Vasario 16-osios Lietuvos Nepriklausomybės Akto atradimo Berlyne 2017 m. Taip pat Mažylis turi plačią akademinę karjerą Vytauto Didžiojo universitete, yra gavęs keletą garbingų apdovanojimų.
